Kinky video

No, not that kind of kinky. Wash your mind out with soap! The band Kinky is from Monterrey, Mexico but now they’re in California. Coincidence: my co-worker Diana is from Monterrey and she loves them too. Watch the video, or visit the band’s Web site.
I think the dancer is David “Elsewhere” Bernal, but I’m not 100% sure.

Kinky is great! I saw them play in Berkeley when they opened up for Manu Chao, they were very enegetic and just had really fun songs.
I shared Kinky tunes from my Shuffle on a train in Spain with a Spanish traveller. He laughed at how simple the lyrics were, but liked the beats. I’ve also used them for some fun audio editing projects. Good tunes & good times!
I asked Diana to watch it and she said that no one in the band dances like that and that it must be special effects. But I did more googling and I think the dancer is David “Elsewhere” Bernal… see the comments on youtube from “kinkytheband”. I’m not totally convinced that it is him, but it sure looks like his dancing.
