All of you folks salivating over Leopard, good news, you can now get it at a $20 discount by pre-ordering it from Amazon. The ship date will be October 26.
I learned about this via Daring Fireball. If you’d like DF to get his Amazon kickback, use his associate link.
If you’d like to benefit Jessibird instead, use her associate link.
Personally I’m holding off, at least until all my favorite shareware is compatible. How about you?

What Shareware do you depend on that isn’t leopard compatible?

I need to survey and get back to you on that ;-) I’m assuming there is something since I use dozens.
Truth is, I don’t need much motivation to postpone, since I’m not that excited about any one feature. But all the little improvements do seem nice.

My shareware rundown:
Leopard-compatible already, yay:
LaunchBar
VLC
GraphicConverter
Soho Notes
AudioHijack Pro
iShowU
LetterBox
Leopard compatibility unknown:
These are really important to me:
CheckBook
SuperDuper
OnMyCommand
ServiceScrubber
WordService
MenuCalendarClock iCal
NetNewsWire (Lite or full)
Transmit
Unison
Twitterific
TextWrangler
iVolume
iScrobbler
Flip4Mac
Solitaire Till Dawn
These are nice but I could live without:
Onyx
Growl
The UnArchiver
Witch
SharePoints
I’ve googled a while but I think it’s still early to see much information, or compatibility lists, though one Leopard tester put up a list of his stuff and what he knows about it on http://www.musingsfrommars.org/building-leopard/.

I just pre-ordered Leopard. I couldn’t pass up Amazon’s deal. But I’ll hold off on installing it until the first maintenance upgrade and/or my beloved shareware is compatible.
