It’s a solid state Tesla coil and it wants to entertain us.
It’s been suggested that a good name for this coil would be the “Zeusaphone”. “Thoremin” has also been mentioned, though personally I think we need Theramin type inputs for that.

I knew the little guys were in trouble from the increased Internet radio royalties that loom on the horizon.
What I didn’t realize is that the big guys are under heavy pressure too. The RIAA now wants them to encode their streams to try to prevent them from being recorded.
